Members of this year’s LL.M. graduating class will work on issues involving juvenile justice, women’s rights, the environment, and immigration in the United States and abroad.

At Article 19, the international human rights organization, Lupu will focus on protecting the right to free speech and access to information in Myanmar.

She will use her fellowship to represent indigent clients and launch her career as a public defender.

She will pursue accountability for human rights violations against children in South Sudan and Africa at large.

Burgess will use her fellowship at the American Civil Liberties Union Racial Justice Program to develop her skills as a litigator.

At Law for Black Lives, the Australian attorney will focus on reforms to end the school-to-prison pipeline.

As attorneys, advocates, CEOs, nonprofit executives, and public servants, Columbia Law School graduates are focused on safeguarding communities, the economy, and civil society.
