Our Mission Statement

The Office of Registration Services serves as the academic administrative hub of Columbia Law School. Registration Services ensures consistent, equitable adherence to CLS academic rules and University policies, while maintaining collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, and students. Managing and overseeing all registration records and processes, including enforcement of academic policies, exams, grading, curriculum, degree conferral, academic records, cross-registration and Bar matters, we focus on precision and timely resolutions to inquiries while demonstrating adherence to our core principles — integrity, transparency, cooperation, and respect.

We strive to uphold the academic integrity of Columbia Law School by becoming the foremost resource on Law and university policies, procedures, and academic rule. What We Do

For Current Students

Course Selection & Registration

We work with the Faculty to develop the curriculum, craft the course schedule, and facilitate the registration process. Learn more

For Current Students

Exams & Grading

We administer final exams and manage the collection and distribution of grades and honors at the end of the semester. Learn more

For Graduating Students and Alumni

Bar Certification & Licensure

We complete the bar certification process and help to facilitate the professional licensure process in New York and other jurisdictions. Learn more
