Columbia Law School’s Class of 2026—including J.D., LL.M., E.LL.M., and J.S.D. students—celebrated their achievements along with their family and friends at a Class Day ceremony featuring a keynote address by former U.S. Solicitor General Donald B. Verrilli Jr. ’83.

Students describe her as engaging, demanding, charismatic, and caring. Johnson will accept the prize, awarded annually by the Law School’s graduating class, at graduation on May 17.

Cheers of pride and tears of joy greeted J.D., LL.M., E.LL.M., and J.S.D. students, who—along with their families and friends—celebrated graduation at the Law School’s 2025 Class Day ceremony, featuring a keynote address by former Montana Governor Steve Bullock ’94.

Students praise Huntington for her expertise in family law, engaged teaching style, and classroom pedagogy. She will receive the prize, awarded annually by the Law School’s graduating class, and speak at graduation on May 18.
