Section Description

The course covers the law of personal injuries to physical and emotional well-being and to property. The law of negligence takes up most of the course. Intentional torts and strict liability are considered briefly. The emphasis is on critically examining how tort law has evolved and how well or poorly particular tort doctrines serve the underlying objectives of tort liability..
