Section Description
This course satisfies the J.D. Professional Responsibility requirement.
This course will cover the legal and regulatory framework governing lawyers and how it affects every aspect of a lawyer’s career. We will discuss the ethical dilemmas that arise in the practice of law, analyze how to deal with these problems in a practice setting and the duties and responsibilities of practicing attorneys to their clients and the profession. Student teams will be assigned each week to analyze a problem and present the case to the class. The emphasis will be on a practical approach to reaching solutions.
This course also satisfies the LL.M. Professional Responsibility requirement for the California bar.
