Section Description

Prerequisite: Evidence

This seminar shall address the trial phases of civil and criminal litigation. Simulated trial problems designed to promote knowledge of the litigation process and to afford individual experience in selected phases of on-trial practice will be employed to familiarize students with pragmatic tactical issues and solutions. Written trial materials will be used. Towards the end of the semester, a full-scale trial will be scheduled.

The seminar is open only to students who have completed Evidence. It does not fulfill the legal writing requirement.
