Columbia Law School Interview Program (CLSIP) is a virtual, lottery-based program January 7-9, 2026 for students in the class of 2028 seeking 1L and 2L summer positions.
Employers may register on Symplicity through November 11, 2025. Click here for detailed registration instructions. After this date, please send us details and we will register on your behalf.

CLSIP POLICIES
All employers should be transparent with students and our office about their offer timing throughout the application process.
We would like to highlight these policies:
- Offers for 1L summer associate positions should stay open for a minimum of 14 days from the date of the offer letter.
- Offers for 2L summer associate positions should stay open until at least January 30, 2026 or a minimum of 14 days from the date of the offer letter, whichever is later.

The Office of Private Sector Careers in conjunction with the Office of Public Interest/Public Service Law and Careers hosts the Spring OCI (January-March) program, provides 1L, 2L and 3L students with an opportunity to interview with law firms, corporations, government, and public interest organizations for summer and postgraduate positions. Interviews are held from January to March.

During the Overseas-Trained LL.M. Interview Program, LL.M. students have the opportunity to interview for permanent and training postgraduate positions with U.S. and foreign law firms. The program consists of a Fall Resume Collection, Winter Virtual Interview Program, and a Spring Resume Collection. Employers are welcome to participate in any or all of these offerings based on recruitment goals.
Participating schools include the University of Chicago Law School, Columbia Law School, Harvard Law School, the University of Michigan Law School, Stanford Law School, the University of Virginia School of Law, and Yale Law School.
