You may post a job for students and alumni on Symplicity. 

Posting Instructions:

  1. Go to the Symplicity homepage at  https://law-columbia-csm.symplicity.com/employers
  2. Click the Jobs tab on the navigation bar, followed by Job Postings
  3. Click Post A Job
  4. Fill out the details of the position, including how you would like to receive applications [via email, external url (‘other - enter below’), or Resume Collect (‘accumulate online’)], and click Submit.

Columbia Law School Interview Program (CLSIP) is a virtual, lottery-based program held in early January 2027 for students in the class of 2029 seeking 1L and 2L summer positions.

Registration begins on Monday, August 10. Additional details will be posted soon.

CLSIP POLICIES
All employers should be transparent with students and our office about their offer timing throughout the application process.

We would like to highlight this provision:

  • Offers for 1L and 2L summer associate positions should stay open for a minimum of 14 days from the date of the offer letter.

$800 (Full day), $400 (Half day)

The Office of Private Sector Careers in conjunction with the Office of Public Interest/Public Service Law and Careers hosts the Spring OCI (January-March) program, provides 1L, 2L and 3L students with an opportunity to interview with law firms, corporations, government, and public interest organizations for summer and postgraduate positions. Interviews are held from January to March.

During the Overseas-Trained LL.M. Interview Program, LL.M. students have the opportunity to interview for permanent and training postgraduate positions with U.S. and foreign law firms. The program consists of a Fall Resume Collection, Winter Virtual Interview Program, and a Spring Resume Collection. Employers are welcome to participate in any or all of these offerings based on recruitment goals. 

Participating schools include the University of Chicago Law School, Columbia Law School, Harvard Law School, the University of Michigan Law School, Stanford Law School, the University of Virginia School of Law, and Yale Law School.
