Summer Recruiting Program - Employer Information

CLS 2025 VIRTUAL SUMMER RECRUITING PROGRAM

Early Application Period (EAP). Students will apply (with resume and transcript) to up to eight employers. Employers select the students they wish to interview.
Applicant Packets Provided to Employers: early June, and no later than Tuesday, June 10.

Summer Interview Program (SIP) for 2Ls, virtual, lottery-based program (June 24-26). If participating in EAP, your firm must register for at least one half-day SIP schedule.

Summer Interview Program (SIP) for 3Ls, virtual, lottery-based program (July 29).

DIRECT APPLICATIONS
Post a job on Symplicity and/or send your direct application link and we will share it with our students.

FIRM MARKETING MATERIALS
Share firm one-pagers to be posted and shared with students.

SUMMER RECRUITING PROGRAM (SRP) POLICIES
All employers should be transparent with students and our office about their offer timing throughout the application process.

We would like to highlight these updates for 2025:

  • All offers should stay open until at least June 30, 2025 or a minimum of 14 days from the date of the offer letter, whichever is later. 
  • Offers given to 1L summer associates to return as 2L summer associates should remain open until at least June 30, 2025 or a minimum of 14 days from the date of the offer letter, whichever is later.
  • Based on extensive market feedback, there is no longer a restriction on student applications outside of SRP.

FEES

  • Non-refundable Deposit: $400 non-refundable deposit (to be subtracted from final invoice)

  • EAP: $500 fee per firmFirms that receive fewer than 5 applicants will not be charged.
  • SIP: $800 (Full day), $400 (Half day). A full day SIP schedule includes up to 22 interview slots; a half day schedule is up to 11 interview slots.

There is no fee for public sector employers and employers with fewer than 50 attorneys.
