Hillary Anne Schneller

Hillary Schneller (she/her) is a senior staff attorney at the Center for Reproductive Rights, where she has worked since 2014. Hillary was co-lead counsel in the 2022 Supreme Court case Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, where she represented the last abortion clinic in Mississippi and defended the right to abortion. She has led numerous other cases in state and federal courts to secure and expand access to abortion. Hillary also leads the Center’s work to advance impact litigation on maternal health in the United States. Before joining the Center, Hillary was an Equal Justice Works Fellow at the National Women’s Law Center. Hillary received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was awarded the Allan Morrow Sexuality & Gender Law Prize, and her B.A. from Barnard College.
