Section Description
The seminar will focus on jurisprudential, moral, and philosophical implications of narrative and legal passages in the early books of the Bible. We will study such themes as: The Image of God and Equality; Relationship between Law and Ethics; Punishment, Guilt and Shame; The Mystery of Cain's Wife; and Limitations on Political and Religious Power.
