Two Columbia Law School Grads Ascend To High-Level Posts on New York State Court

New York, March 30, 2009 — New York State Governor David A. Paterson has announced high-level state court appointments of two Columbia Law School graduates. Paterson named Hon. Luis Gonzalez ’75 presiding justice of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court for the First Judicial Department, and Hon. Sheila Abdus-Salaam ’77 a justice on the same court.
