New York, October 23, 2012—Columbia Law School Professor John C. Coffee Jr. on Thursday will present the opening panel at the American Bar Association’s 16th annual National Institute on Class Actions in Chicago. 
 
Coffee and University of Connecticut School of Law Professor Alexandra Lahav will highlight the past year in class-action law in their talk, “Holy Cow! This Year the Courts Said What?! A Brief History of this Year’s Developments in Class Action Jurisprudence.”
 
Lahav and Coffee, the Law School’s Adolf A. Berle Professor of Law, recently co-authored the Annual Class Action Litigation Report.
