New York Bar Foundation Awards Fellowship to Columbia Law School Student
John V. Knight '16 Will Spend the Summer Working for the Antitrust Division in New York City.
New York, March 7, 2014—Columbia Law School student John V. Knight ’16 has been awarded a fellowship to spend the summer working in the antitrust division of the U.S. Department of Justice in New York City.
The New York Bar Foundation selected Knight and a Fordham University School of Law student for two Antitrust Section Law Student Fellowships, which include a $6,000 stipend.
"It's hard to imagine something more in line with my own ambition,” said Knight, a Los Angeles native. “Starting my legal career with the Antitrust Section Fellowship is an incredible opportunity."
Before attending Columbia Law School, Knight earned his B.A. in political science from UCLA.
“We are pleased to recognize two outstanding law students who have demonstrated exceptional promise,” said Barbara Hart of Lowey Dannenberg Cohen & Hart in White Plains, chair of the State Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Section. “They both will gain invaluable legal experience in their fields.”
