Jerome Greene Hall Goes Green

The Law School Provided Reusable Water Bottles to Students as Part of a Push to Create a More Sustainable Campus.
New York, February 24, 2014—Jerome Greene Hall is going green!

Columbia Law School students are now toting a new item in their ever-present black backpacks, and it’s not another book. It’s a 100% BPA-free reusable water bottle distributed as a courtesy of Student Services, along with the offices of Graduate Legal Studies, Social Justice Initiatives, Career Services, and the Student Senate.  Water fountains throughout the building are being specially retrofitted to accommodate the new bottles.

The give-away is a small step in the Law School’s effort to “Go Green,” and to participate in a University-wide initiative to improve the environmental sustainability of Morningside campus operations.
