A Great Day for Giving

Thanks to the generous support of members of the Law School community, Giving Day 2019 was a resounding success. Gifts surpassed last year’s tally by nearly 45 percent.

2019 Giving Day

On October 23—Columbia Giving Day—alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends joined together to support and celebrate Columbia Law School. The record-breaking, 24-hour effort resulted in 765 gifts and more than $1.4 million confirmed in support of the Annual Fund.

Various spirited and inspiring community-building activities and giving challenges motivated fundraising throughout the day. In Jerome L. Greene Hall, students, faculty, and staff took photos in front of a custom banner featuring iconic Columbia Law scenes and enjoyed popcorn and other treats.

The community celebrated its commitment to Columbia Law and ultimately surpassed the 2018 Giving Day gift tally by 237 gifts. See images from Columbia Giving Day 2019.
