EPIC, a public interest research center, was established in 1994 to focus public attention on emerging civil liberties issues and to protect privacy, the First Amendment, and constitutional values.

Mr. Rotenberg is an expert on privacy and civil liberties issues who has testified before Congress on many subjects, including access to information, encryption policy, computer security, and communications privacy.

He teaches information privacy law at Georgetown University Law Center. He is editor of The Privacy Law Sourcebook and co-editor (with Daniel J. Solove) of Information Privacy Law: Cases and Materials (forthcoming Aspen Publishing).

Pizza will be served to attendees.
