CLS Teaching program Announces New Positions

CLS LAW TEACHING PROGRAM ANNOUNCES NEWEST FACULTY APPOINTMENTS
 
 
April 23, 2008 (NEW YORK) - Professors Carol Sanger and Michael Dorf, co-directors of the Program on Careers in Law and Teaching, are pleased to announce that the following individuals received appointments at these schools beginning in the 2008-09 year:
 
Thomas Antkowiak ‘03: Seattle University Law School (where he will be running the International Human Rights Clinic);

Caroline Mala Corbin ‘01: University of Miami Law School;
 
Yasmin Abdullah Dawood ’97: University of Toronto Faculty of Law;
 
Marc DeGirolami ’06 LL.M. (visiting assistant professor): Catholic University Law School
 
Associate Katharina de la Durantaye: St. John’s University (Queens, New York);and
 
Genevieve Hebert Fajardo ’97: St. Mary’s University School of Law (San Antonio, Texas);
 
David Flatto ‘97: Penn State Dickinson School of Law (Carlisle, Pennsylvania);
 
Rachelle Holmes ‘02 and the current transactional studies fellow: George Mason University School of Law (Arlington, Virginia);

Dale Margolin ‘04: director of a new Families-at-Risk Clinic and assistant professor at Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond, Virginia.).

In addition, Profs. Sanger and Dorf are happy to announce that Tim Casey ’02 LL.M., former Associate Matt Rossman were promoted to full professors at Case Western Reserve University School of Law (Cleveland).
 
The Program on Careers in Law Teaching provides current students and graduates of Columbia Law School with tools to explore the possibility of a career as a law professor, and support when they have decided to do so.
