Sarah Han

Sarah Han is a lecturer in law for Columbia Law School's Legal Practice Workshop. Outside of CLS Sarah is a supervising attorney in the Family Defense Practice of Brooklyn Defender Services where she defends parents caught in the family regulation system.

Sarah was born, raised, and educated in Canada. She attended the University of Toronto (Trinity College) for her undergraduate degree and completed her common law and civil law degrees at the University of Ottawa.

Sarah initially practiced criminal defense, constitutional, and administrative law in Canada. She then worked in Afghanistan and Pakistan on rule of law development, living in and then traveling frequently to the region from 2010-2017.

She joined the New York bar in 2014. Sarah uses she/her pronouns.
