Paul Oosterhuis

Paul Oosterhuis has practiced international tax law at Skadden for the past thirty years. Over his career he has had extensive experience in cross-border mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, spinoffs, and joint ventures. He also has represented clients in internal restructurings and non-transactional planning matters and in resolving transfer pricing and other complex international tax controversies. In recent years he has been actively involved in international tax policy discussions, writing and speaking before various audiences on U.S. international tax reform and its implementation and on the OECD base erosion and digitalization tax projects. He began his legal career by spending five years as a Legislation Attorney and Legislation Counsel for the Joint Committee on Taxation of the U.S. Congress.
