Nicolas Grabar

Nick Grabar is a Senior Counsel at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, where he began as an associate in 1984, became a partner in 1991 and retired from active practice in September 2022. His practice centered on advising public companies and sovereigns in international financial matters, and he has broad and deep expertise in securities transactions and public company disclosure. He continues to be involved as a senior counsel in the firm's work for major clients, and he is pursuing his interest in securities regulatory policy. Nick was educated at Harvard College and Harvard Law School and served as a law clerk to Hon. Pierre N. Leval in the Southern District of New York.
