Julian Arato

Professor Arato is a Professor of Law at Brooklyn Law School and Co-Director of the Dennis J. Block Center for the Study of International Business Law. He serves on the Executive Council of the American Society of International Law (ASIL), as Co-Chair for the ASIL International Economic Law Interest Group, and as a member of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration (ITA) Academic Council. He is the Editor of the International Decisions section of the American Journal of International Law. Before joining the Brooklyn Law School faculty, Professor Arato was an Associate-in-Law at Columbia Law School. He previously worked as an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in the international arbitration group.
