JoAnn Lynn Kintz

JoAnn Kintz is a trial attorney with the Environment and Natural Resources Section of the U.S. Department of Justice. Her practice area focuses on affirmative and defensive civil litigation and Federal Indian Law, including the defensive of federal laws, regulations, and other administrative decisions pertaining to federally-recognized Indian tribes; protections of tribal lands and resources; and other matters in furtherance of Indian tribes' interests.

JoAnn is an enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. She received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and her B.A. from Columbia College in Anthropology.
