Jacob Schneider is a Supervising Attorney at Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem where he represents respondents in family policing cases from arraignment through trial and mentors new attorneys. Prior to working at NDS, Jacob was a staff attorney at the Center for HIV Law and Policy, where he spearheaded policy advocacy to reduce the use of public health information in criminal and civil prosecutions, and at Brooklyn Defender Services. Before becoming an attorney, Jacob was a Spanish teacher at a public high school in Philadelphia. Jacob received a B.A. from Columbia University and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.
