Delphine Park O’Rourke, Esq. is on a mission to advance innovation in health, with a particular focus on women, because she believes that we have suffered and died unnecessarily for too long.
She is a globally recognized leader in women’s health and wellness who leverages multiple platforms, experience, and expertise to drive meaningful change. Delphine is active as a strategic executive, health law expert, venture capital investor, and board member. She is a sought-after speaker and committed to helping untangle the healthcare system, the complicated laws and regulations that frame healthcare delivery, as well as the constantly changing policy initiatives.
Delphine is currently developing a care delivery model that integrates virtual and traditional in-person care with the physical flexibility of women’s dynamic work and home environment. After years working with health systems and hospitals, including as Associate General Counsel of the healthcare giant, Ascension, Delphine wanted to build a “click and composite” solution that would bridge telehealth and brick and mortar to solve for the obstacles of time, distance, and space that block women’s access to care.
Delphine previously led the first global legal practice dedicated to the women's health industry as a partner with Goodwin and continues to advise women’s health clients. Of recent note, Delphine has consistently been named Best Lawyers in America for Health Law, including recently for 2023, was nominated by The Financial Times for its 2023 award for the most innovative lawyer and the most innovative legal practice, and recognized as among the most influential leaders in women’s health by WoW.
In addition to her legal practice, Delphine is a lead partner in Portfolia, the leading venture investing platform designed for women and invests in femtech. She serves on a number of advisory boards including the Columbia Law School Alumni Association, e-Lovu, MDisrupt, Everviolet, Flourish, MACK, and The Invisible Girl Project.
Delphine earned her Juris Doctorate from Columbia Law School where she was also a Harlan Stone Fiske Scholar and her Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service, cum laude, from Georgetown University, and clerked for the United States District in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
