Danielle L. Jackson is the Deputy Managing Attorney of the Criminal Defense Practice of Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem (“NDS”). Prior to joining NDS, she was a Principal Court Attorney to an Acting Supreme Court Justice in Kings County Supreme Court, Criminal Term. Danielle has previously worked as an Assistant Law Clerk in New York County Supreme Court-Civil Term and was a Staff Attorney in the Criminal Defense Practice of The Legal Aid Society. She is a frequent legal commentator on the Law & Crime Network. 

Danielle was a 2021 cohort member of the Justice Ambassadors Youth Council at Columbia University's Center for Justice. She is a board member of New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and is a previous board member of the Association of Black Women Attorneys. Danielle received her B.A. in Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her J.D. from Howard University School of Law.
