Anar Rathod Patel

Anar Rathod Patel is an Associate in the Litigation Department of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Anar represents clients in a wide range of government and internal investigations, as well as high-stakes, complex commercial litigation matters with a focus on securities litigation. Anar has significant experience representing and advising multinational corporations, boards of directors, board committees, and executives in connection with internal investigations, civil and criminal regulatory enforcement actions, whistleblower complaints, and compliance matters. She has handled matters involving the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and other federal and state regulators.

Anar received her J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law, where she was the Associate Editor of the Northwestern University Law Review. She earned her B.S., with honors and distinction, from Cornell University. She was a law clerk to the Honorable William F. Kuntz, II of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
