Amy McCamphill is an assistant corporation counsel in the Appeals Division of the New York City Law Department, where she represents the City and its agencies in federal and state appellate litigation. Previously, McCamphill worked in the Environmental Law Division of the City Law Department, where she practiced environmental litigation and counseling. Prior to joining the New York City Law Department, McCamphill clerked for the Honorable Joseph R. Goodwin, the U.S. District Court Judge for the Southern District of West Virginia.
McCamphill received her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2009. During her studies at the Law School, she was a James Kent scholar, a recipient of the Hamilton Fellowship, and a notes editor on the Columbia Law Review. She graduated with a B.A. from Washington and Lee University in 2006.
