Alison Arden Besunder is a partner at Goetz Fitzpatrick LLP, where she is the Chair of the Trusts & Estates Group. Her practice includes estate planning as well as related litigation in Article 81 guardianships, probate proceedings, and contested accountings. From 2009 to 2019, Alison helmed her own law firm, Arden Besunder P.C., where she focused her practice on trusts and estate planning, estate-related litigation, guardianships, and commercial litigation. She represents clients in federal, state, and Surrogate's Courts throughout New York City and Long Island. Alison is admitted to practice in New York, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Supreme Court. Alison earned her J.D. in 1998 from Brooklyn Law School, where she was a Dean's Merit Scholar. She serves on the board of the American Camping Association Tri-State Chapter, a non-profit organization.
