Adriel Cepeda Derieux is the Deputy Director of the ACLU’s Voting Rights Project, and focuses his practice on litigating voting rights cases nationwide before state and federal trial and appellate courts.  He joined the ACLU in 2018, after working as counsel in Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr’s New York office, where he focused on business trial and appellate litigation.  He also completed clerkships with the Honorable Theodore A. McKee, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit (2012-13), and the Honorable Juan R. Torruella, U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit (2011-12).
