The Public Interest Legal Career (PILC) Fair hosts 300+ public interest and government employers hiring for summer internships and, in more limited numbers, postgraduate jobs. It is a key way 1Ls connect with employers, either through formal interviews or informal "table talk." It can also be helpful for other job-seeking students to attend.
Students may register for the fair and submit interview applications starting on Nov. 15 at 9 a.m. The deadline to register and upload applications is Jan. 15 at 5 p.m. Register at pilcfair.law.nyu.edu using your UNI.
NOTE: Your registration must be approved by the PI/PS Office. Do NOT wait until the last minute to register.
After you register, you can access to the application system. You may apply to up to 50 employers. You will need to a resume and tailored cover letter, combined into one PDF, for each employer.
The fair will be held online on Feb. 5 and 6, 2026.
