In celebration of the 250th anniversary of our nation’s independence, President Mnookin invites you to a casual, festive summer picnic. Join us for classic Fourth-of-July fare, refreshing summer treats, and an opportunity to gather in community as we commemorate this important milestone and embark on an exciting new chapter in Columbia’s history.
Due to the anticipated heat, the event will be held on both the South Lawns and the Lerner Hall ramps. Food will be available in Lerner Hall, and activities and picnic tables, with umbrellas, will be available outside. We will have evaporative coolers, plenty of water, and individual hand-held fans outdoors. Your well-being is our top priority, so please stop by as your health and comfort permit.
All students, faculty, and staff with a Columbia University ID are welcome.
