First-year J.D. students, it’s time to start thinking about the 2026 Public Interest Legal Career (PILC) Fair! The PILC Fair hosts 200+ public interest and government employers to interview and meet with students from participating law schools. This year, it will be held virtually on February 5 and 6.
Join the PI/PS Office for a panel discussion with students who participated in past fairs. We will cover:
- Important dates and deadlines
- Cover letter prep
- Timeline and application guidance
- Preliminary interview tips and how to start preparing
Attend this event to get early advice on the 2026 fair so that you can feel prepared heading into the new year!
Lunch will be served–register in advance to prevent food waste. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options will be available. If you have any other dietary requirements, please email us at least five business days before the event.
Students may register for the fair and begin submitting applications to employers on November 15, 2025 at 9 a.m. The deadline to register and upload applications is January 15, 2026 at 5 p.m.
