ELS x BLSA - Land Loss and Legacy: An Environmental Justice Movie Screening Event
ELS and BLSA will be hosting a lunch hour movie screening of Raya Salter’s “Black Soil Rising: An Alabama Family's Fight for Land.” The short film is about the descendants of enslaved landowners in rural Alabama, who work to reclaim their land. The film centers themes of environmental racism and land loss. A Q&A discussion with Raya Salter will follow.
