Jason Jurgens (CLS '99) served as the CLS Federalist Society President from 1998-99. Jason is a New York-based partner in Jones Day's Financial Markets Practice where he advises banks, asset managers, private capital funds, broker dealers, and exchanges regarding some of their most significant and challenging matters, including those involving corporate control contests, industry-changing regulatory developments, high-profile enforcement inquiries, and litigations that threaten the viability of their businesses.
Jason is an active and committed alum of the law school where he currently serves as a member of the CLS Board of Visitors, as well as a Co-Chair for his class reunions. Jason also recently completed a 12-year term on the Columbia Law School Association Board, where he was a founding member of the Mentoring & Recent Alumni Committee with which he continues to be involved.
