Michael Lawrence, Senior Competition Counsel at Google, will discuss the divergent U.S. and E.U. competition cases against Google Search. While the E.U. fined Google for allegedly favoring its own shopping results, the U.S. concluded that these results benefited consumers and were lawful. Michael will explore the reasons behind these different outcomes.
