Take a break from studying, and give back to the city's park system! In honor of Earth Day, we're heading to Riverside Park to spend a morning volunteering with the Riverside Park Conservancy — one of NYC's most beloved green spaces right in our backyard.
We'll be getting our hands dirty with beautification and stewardship activities like weeding garden beds, spreading mulch, planting native species, and helping clean up the park's waterfront along the Hudson. No experience necessary — just show up ready to work and have fun doing it. All tools and supplies will be provided on-site.
This is a great opportunity to connect with your community, enjoy some fresh air, and make a real, visible difference in a park that millions of New Yorkers love. Dress comfortably in clothes you don't mind getting dirty, wear closed-toe shoes, and bring a water bottle. We'll see you out there!
