J.D. graduates who demonstrate serious commitment to, and preparation for, careers as public interest, government, or human rights lawyers are eligible for Columbia Law School J.D. Pathways Fellowships. Recipients work at a qualifying host organization in the U.S. or abroad for one year. The deadline to apply for 2025 is May 1, 2025.
The 2025 application will be posted on the Columbia Law School postgraduate fellowships page by spring 2025. At that time, we will announce whether the fellowship is open to the members of the J.D. class of 2025 from any ABA-accredited law school in the United States or just those from Columbia Law School.
These fellowships are adminstered by the Office of Public Interest/Public Service Law and Careers (the PI/PS Office).
