Amidst an ongoing crisis for multilateral diplomacy, delegates from around the world met in Belém, Brazil for the 30th annual UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP30) in November 2025. Distinguished guests and attendees will share their reflections on the conference and talk about the path forward for international climate law. Heartened by the recent ICJ ruling regarding States' Obligations with respect to climate change while facing shifting political tides and the US withdrawal from the IPCC, this panel will feature perspectives on international climate justice and environmental progress in light of the historic events that took place in Brazil at the end of last year.
