Join the Constitutional Democracy Initiative for a book talk with legal scholar Michelle Adams on The Containment: Detroit, the Supreme Court, and the Battle for Racial Justice in the North, the epic story of Detroit’s struggle to integrate schools in its suburbs and the defeat of desegregation in the North. The discussion will be led by Olatunde Johnson, Ruth Bader Ginsburg ’59 Professor of Law at Columbia Law School.

Lunch will be provided to registered attendees, and copies of the book will be available.
Seating is limited and attendees will be checked in upon arrival.
