Reunion Weekend 2026 takes place June 5 and 6, with events in both Midtown and on the Columbia University Campus.

Is parking available?
Parking in the Morningside Heights area can be difficult. We strongly encourage you to use public transportation. However, limited parking is available in the vicinity of the Alfred J. Lerner Hall (115th Street and Broadway Avenue) as listed below. You may also check nyc.bestparking.com for parking garages in the neighborhood (often with discounts or coupons).

How do I get to the Columbia campus on public transportation?
The 1 train stops at the Columbia University station at West 116th Street and Broadway It also stops at both Pennsylvania Station (34th Street) and the Port Authority Bus Terminal (42nd Street). From Grand Central Station subway shuttle service (the S-train) is available to Times Square, where it is possible to transfer to the 1.

Four bus lines (M4, M11, M60, M104) stop in the Morningside Heights neighborhood at 116th. The M60 bus is a direct link between campus and LaGuardia Airport.

Yellow taxis can be flagged from most city streets at any time of the day or night. In addition, Boro Taxis can be flagged in the outer boroughs and in Manhattan above 96th Street. They are recognizable by their apple-green color.

A New York City wheelchair-accessible taxi can be requested by calling the 311 operators; calling the dispatch center directly at 646-599-9999; texting a request to 646-400-0789; using the mobile app Wheels on Wheels; or ordering online.

Rideshare apps connect you with a professional driver for door-to-door car service. Visit Uber or Lyft for more information.

Citi Bike is New York City’s bike-share system, with stations located throughout Morningside Heights and near Columbia’s campuses. Citi Bike offers short-term passes for visitors and annual memberships for frequent riders, including pedal-assist electric bikes. Bikes can be unlocked and paid for by using the Lyft app. See Citi Bike pricing options and the Citi Bike station map.

Where do I go upon arrival to check in and pick up my name badge?

Check-in for Reunion and pick up your name badge when the registration desks opens at Gotham Hall on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at the Kickoff Cocktail Reception.

For Saturday’s events, registration and check-in will only take place in the Broadway lobby of Alfred J. Lerner Hall, 2920 Broadway, at 115th Street.

The only access point to campus for Reunion celebrants is through the Broadway lobby of Alfred J. Lerner Hall, 2920 Broadway, at 115th Street. The other entrances to campus are restricted.

After registering for Reunion Weekend, please ensure you are prepared with the below requirements for attending all Reunion events. ☐ Bring a valid photo ID. ☐ Have your Registration QR code ready to be scanned upon arrival. ☐ Large bags are discouraged, coat check is available to store oversized items. All guests will be subject to bag checks at entry to all event locations.

Are there professional photographers and videographers during Reunion weekend?
Photographers and videographers will be present throughout Reunion Weekend. Columbia Law School retains the right to publish content in any format or media without additional permission from the individuals in the photos or videos.

Do I need to register for Reunion Weekend in advance?
Yes. Due to increased security measures in place for Reunion Weekend, we strongly encourage everyone to register in advance for a more seamless experience. Walk-ins will only be accepted as space permits.

Can I cancel my reservation and receive a full refund?
A full refund can be granted only if we receive your request by 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026. After this time, refunds cannot be granted. For the standard Columbia Law School refund policy, please see our E-Commerce page.

Please note, any refund requested 120 days after the initial transaction, if before the registration and refund deadline of May 21, 2026, will be issued by check, which could take up to two weeks.

Can I modify my registration?
Yes. You may make modifications to your registration up until Thursday, May 21, 2026.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept payment by credit card, from cards bearing the logo of American Express, MasterCard Worldwide, or Visa, Inc., and by check, provided that it is drawn in U.S. dollars from a U.S. branch of a U.S. bank.

We regret that we cannot accept any cash payment, including banknotes and coins, cashier’s check, traveller’s check, money order, or checks drawn from foreign banks.

Please note that Reunion registration fees and gift monies are processed separately and result in separate credit card charges. If you are paying your registration fee by check and want to include a gift, separate checks would be gratefully received. Both fee and gift checks should be made out to “Columbia Law School”.

Our Reunion programming, with morning, afternoon, and evening activities scheduled throughout the weekend, is designed to provide opportunities for cultural, professional, and social interaction with classmates for observant alumni of all faiths.

The Saturday morning panel sessions will all be recorded and posted to the website after Reunion.

Do I need to register for my class dinner?
We can only accept walk-in attendees on a space-available basis, so we strongly encourage you to pre-register by Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Can I bring my children to Reunion?
Our Saturday Picnic Luncheon is family-friendly and will include clowns, face painters, and balloon artists—children are most welcome! Other Reunion Weekend events are more suitable for adults, such as the panel discussions and the evening class events.

How are Reunion ticket prices determined?
Your reunion committee's classmates meet regularly throughout the year to make recommendations on the programming and encourage their fellow alumni to join Reunion Weekend.

All ticket purchases, both individual and part of the Full Weekend Pass, go towards the cost of the event. However, it's important to note that the ticket prices only cover a part of the event's total expenses. The Columbia Law School subsidizes a significant portion of Reunion costs.

What do I do if I or one of my guests have special needs or a dietary restriction?
During registration for Reunion, indicate if you or your guests have special needs or dietary restrictions that you would like to let us know about. We do our best to accommodate all requests.

Special Needs
Should you require assistance during your visit to campus, we would be pleased to help you. To ensure we have adequate time to prepare, please contact us no later than the registration deadline, Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Dietary Restrictions
Halal, Kosher, and vegetarian food options will be available at each Reunion meal. To ensure that the dietary needs of all of our guests are met, please register with your food restrictions noted by Thursday, May 21, 2026.

What is the recommended attire?
Business attire is recommended for the Friday evening event. Casual dress is suggested for Saturday daytime activities. Cocktail attire is suggested for Saturday evening.

Can I receive Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit during Reunion Weekend?
Columbia Law School has been certified by the New York State Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Board as an Accredited Provider of CLE programs. Under New York State CLE regulations, this traditional live classroom for newly admitted and experienced CLE Program will provide 1 hour of New York CLE credit in the Areas of Professional Practice category. This CLE credit is awarded to New York attorneys for full attendance of each individual session of the Program.

Attorneys wishing to receive NYS CLE credit at the Saturday in-person panel discussions must sign the register at the CLE desk both prior to and following each CLE program.

Attorneys seeking credit must affirm arrival and departure times with a signature in the registers. On departure sign-out, attorneys should also submit their completed Evaluation Form, furnished at the Conference. This attendance verification procedure is required by the New York State CLE Board. Please note the NYS Certificates of Attendance will be sent to the email address as it appears in the register unless otherwise noted there.

What is the Stone Circle?
The Stone Circle honors alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago. It is named for Harlan Fiske Stone, who graduated from Columbia Law School in 1898, served on the Columbia Law School faculty from 1902 to 1905, and led the Law School as dean from 1910 to 1924. Later he became attorney general of the United States (1924), associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court (1925), and chief justice (1941).

The Stone Circle Luncheon started as an informal group of Columbia Law graduates from Dean Harlan Fiske Stone's era (1910–1924). Today, we invite alumni to join the Stone Circle on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of their graduation, during Reunion Weekend, and for an annual luncheon each fall to celebrate alumni in their 50th reunion and beyond.
