Section Description

This course was formerly titled L9253-006 S. Deals Workshop: Legal Considerations in Distressed Investing.

This seminar will provide students the opportunity to explore legal aspects of distressed debt investing, including analyzing credit documents, reviewing distressed capital structures, designing liability management transactions, and drafting key restructuring transaction agreements. Through negotiation and drafting exercises, selected readings, and classroom discussion, the seminar will seek to improve each participant’s ability to identify, analyze, and resolve key issues that frequently arise in the lifespan of a distressed debt investment.
