Section Description

The class will focus on the intersection of business and law in the context of real estate. The class will examine the legal infrastructure supporting real world examples of purchases, sales, financings, joint ventures, rezonings, complex developments, restructurings, foreclosures and the exercise of other remedies for breach or default in a variety of real estate scenarios. For certain classes, guest speakers will join the lecturer, either to provide the business color surrounding some of these transactions or to supplement the lecture with specialized expertise.
