ABA Standard 509(b)(3) requires law schools to post the following conditional scholarship retention chart.
The ABA defines a conditional scholarship as follows: "A conditional scholarship is any financial aid award, the retention of which is dependent upon the student maintaining a minimum grade point average or class standing, other than that ordinarily required to remain in good academic standing."
Scholarships are not conditional at Columbia Law School. The only requirements for retaining a scholarship at the Law School are for students to remain in good academic standing as outlined in the standards for their degree program and to maintain good academic and disciplinary standing at the University and Law School.
