Student organizations are an integral and significant piece of the student experience at Columbia Law School. With more than 85 student organizations, ranging from professional interest organizations to social organizations, almost all of our students are active in at least one group.
Jeff Bagares, our Assistant Director of Student Services holds open drop-in hours on Mondays and Thursdays between 10:00 am - 2:30 pm to assist you with the management of your organization's finances, space, event planning, and Law School and university policies about student organization events.
Columbia Law School is the home of 14 law journals, including many of the leading scholarly publications in their fields. Working on a law journal affords students the opportunity to hone their writing and editing skills, participate actively in the scholarship and commentary central to the American legal culture and tradition, and join a micro-community within the Law School.
If you have any questions regarding journal participation, please contact Jennifer Braden, Assistant Director of Counseling and Student Support.
