New York, Feb. 4, 2010–-Preet Bharara ’93, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, will appear Feb. 11 at Columbia Law School to speak about the evolution of federal law enforcement.
 
WHO: Preet Bharara, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, presides over an office that handles many of the nation’s most important cases involving white-collar crime, securities fraud, public corruption, and terrorism.
 
WHAT: A speech that addresses the challenges prosecutors face in dealing with public corruption, financial fraud, and international cases.
