Six outstanding attorneys in diverse legal fields will talk about their experience rising to the top of their fields and their firms.

They include:

  • Dana Freyer: head of alternative arbitration resolution and corporate compliance program practices at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, featured as "the World's Leading Lawyers", as one of the top 50 women litigators in America, and as a leader in dispute resolution
  • Marcia Goldstein: Co-chair of business finance and restructuring and a senior partner at Weil Gotshal, named in numerous publications of "best lawyers" in the restructuring and bankruptcy area
  • Cathy Kaplan: co-head of the NY securitization practice and a managing partner at Sidley Austin Brown & Wood, featured as "the World's Leading Lawyers", "the best of the best 2002" and "the Dealmakers of the Year 1999"
  • Yukako Kawata: co-head of investment fund management/private funds group at Davis Polk, featured as "the World's Leading Lawyers", and America's Leading Business Lawyers
  • Judge Leslie Snyder: current partner at Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman, former Justice of the New York State Supreme Court Criminal Term, founder and chief of Sex Crimes Prosecution Bureau, co-author of New York's Rape Shield Legislation, first woman as an assistant district attorney to try felony and homicide cases
  • Judith Thoyer: co-head of the merger & acquisition group and a managing partner at Paul Weiss, 2003 Medal for Excellence Award from Columbia Law School
