Professor Jack Greenberg Speaks on Gates Controversy
Professor Jack Greenberg, Alphonse Fletcher Professor of Law and one of the country's leading civil rights attorneys, was recently featured on a Legal Talk Network podcast discussing the controversial arrest of Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. The arrest ignited a wide range of legal and social debate as well as a media firestorm worldwide. Attorneys Bob Ambrogi and J. Craig Williams interviewed Greenberg for his thoughts on the incident. Greenberg is the former director-counsel of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund who, together with Thurgood Marshall, argued Brown v. Board of Education before the Supreme Court in 1954.
