Michael Gerrard: Interest in Climate Change Issues Growing at Law School

Michael Gerrard, director of the Center for Climate Change Law, was recently interviewed by Earthbeat Radio about his stance on the Cash-for-clunkers program. Though touted by the government as a green program, many experts, including Gerrard, say cash for clunkers actually takes funds away from dollars already dedicated to a loan program for renewable energy.

Gerrard, along with Henry Jacoby, a professor of management ad co-director of the Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology discuss the hidden pitfalls of this wildly popular program.
