New York, Feb. 1, 2010—Eric H. Holder, Jr. '76, Attorney General of the United States, and renowned constitutional scholar Henry Paul Monaghan, the Harlan Fiske Stone Professor of Law, will receive the Columbia Law School Medal for Excellence, the Law School’s most prestigious award, at the Law School’s Winter Luncheon on Feb. 5.

 

WHAT:
Award of the Columbia Law School Medal for Excellence, presented annually to an alumnus or past or present faculty member who exemplifies the qualities of character, intellect, and social and professional responsibility the Law School seeks to instill in its graduates. To see a list of past medal recipients, click here.
