New York, March 29, 2010—Meera Shankar, the Indian Ambassador to the U.S., will present a lecture on democracy and pluralism in India at Columbia Law School on April. 1.
 
Ambassador Shankar, who has been in her current post for almost a year, was previously India’s ambassador to Germany. She has been in India’s Foreign Service since 1973.

What: Lecture entitled “Democracy and Pluralism in India.” A reception will follow.
